I have refrained from commenting on this subject because I am NOT a mechanic! But, I had the same leak that everyone is referring to and my bike is under warranty. I took my bike to the shop where the head mechanic said it is not the bolt that is loose, rather it's some sort of rubber grommit or something he called it, that is allowing the oil to leak. Any way he replaced it under warranty and fixed the leak! He said that you remove this what ever he called it so that you can tighten that bolt. Maybe someone out there knows what he was referring to!
